The Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shift lever is characterized by its simple and smooth-running operation so that the driver can concentrate solely on the trail ahead. Proven features such as Rapidfire Plus for shifting maximum 3 gears simultaneously and 2-Way-Release have of course been adopted by the right 11-speed shifter.
 
2-WAY-RELEASE
2-Way-Release allows cable release by pressing with the thumb or pulling with the index finger. So you don't have to adapt your riding style to the rear derailleur, but the rear derailleur adapts to your riding style.
I-Spec EV creates a clean and action-optimized cockpit with a wider adjustment range to suit riders of various styles, preferences, and body types
